Feel Good Friday: This elderly singing chihuahua found his forever home
There are so many unexpected joys when you adopt a dog. Of course, you can look forward to the companionship and silliness. But singing? That’s not something most dog parents anticipate (but we sure will now).

When Donatello, a 15-year-old chihuahua, entered the shelter, his future was uncertain. Thankfully, he found his forever home when Alice Chow Geske spotted him and brought him into her life. “I said, 'we need to rescue this little guy,'" she recalled. Alice added, “Even if we can only give him a few months on this earth, it's worth it.”

Soon, Donatello became comfortable in his new home and his unique personality began to shine through. It turns out, Donatello has an ear for music.

Check out the video of Donatello singing a duet. We love this talented little thing!

  • Cook on manual high pressure for 25 minutes.

  • Let it rest for 10 minutes.

  • Cook on manual high pressure for another 25 minutes, then rest for another 10 minutes.

  • Let it cool and garnish with parsley.

Pug vs. French Bulldog vs. English Bulldog
Can you spot the differences between a Pug and a Bulldog? How about French vs. English? Impress your friends with your new expert knowledge on these three popular flat-faced breeds.

Pugs are one of the oldest breeds, and may have been considered good luck in the ancient world. These sweet dogs are the smallest of the bunch and have noticeably floppy ears.

French Bulldogs are currently the second-most-popular breed in the U.S. Charming, intelligent, and playful, Frenchies were considered status symbols in 19th century Paris. They’re known for their bat ears and nubby tails.

English Bulldogs are the largest, typically weighing in at 40-50 lbs. Although their ancestors were fighters, modern English bulldogs are content to spend a lazy day chilling on the couch and ambling across the yard.
