Meet Milkshake the pink pug
A pink pug? That’s right.

Milkshake is an adorable and unique pug with blue eyes and a pink nose. Dog mom Maria De Dozsa met Milkshake when he was only 6 weeks old and instantly felt a connection. Plus, she said, “his coloring matches his sweet personality as well.”

So where does Milkshake’s pink hue come from? Due to a genetic mutation called Leucism, Milkshake has a lack of pigmentation, but is otherwise a perfectly healthy pup.

Now at age 3, Milkshake is a popular internet pup with over 100,000 followers. Let’s face it, this sweet pug is so cute we could eat him up.

Do(g)-It-Yourself
Looking for a new dog-friendly sweet treat? Made with coconut oil, these homemade treats are great for your dog’s skin and coat.

Plus, you can store them in the freezer until you’re ready to use them up, so they’re basically dog ice cream.

Make your own frozen blueberry coconut oil dog treats:

  • What you’ll need: coconut oil, frozen blueberries, and a small silicone heart mold.

  • Place a blueberry into each mold.

  • Heat the coconut oil in a small saucepan until it liquifies.

  • Allow the coconut oil to cool down for a couple minutes, then pour it carefully into the molds.

  • Place the molds in the freezer to solidify.

  • Pop your treats out of the molds.

  • Give one to your dog and store the rest in the freezer!

Rare breed alert
Have you ever met a Briard? If you’re not sure, the answer is probably no. Briards have a very distinctive look.

These large, active dogs are highly intelligent and super friendly. With long locks and a middle part, Briards get lots of attention on the street or in the dog park.

Originally bred as herding dogs, Briards are loyal and affectionate. They’re good with kids and make great companions to anyone with an active lifestyle. Plus, this fashionable breed has all the makings of an internet sensation.
