The show-stealing new addition to the cast of Bridgerton season 2
Great news: Bridgerton is coming back with a new season that features a brand new star. Newton, Kate Sharma's mischievous corgi, has finally been cast.
Bridgerton creator Chris Van Dusen said in an interview, “I always wanted to include him in this season.” Fans can even look forward to a season arc for the adorable pup.
According to people on set, Austin, the dog who plays Newton, is a bit of a diva. Charithra Chandran, who stars as Edwina said, “At one point, he was so full on all the treats, he just fell asleep on the set in the middle of his shot.”
Even though he may be a little naughty, the actors love working with him. We’re so excited to watch Newton make his big debut!
