Watch this dog howl its heart out while playing piano
We’ve seen dogs with many talents – completing an obstacle course, finding a hidden treat, or even learning upwards of 100 words. But this one is something new.

This TikTok pup can stand on his hind legs, jamming out on piano and howling along. In a recent video that’s gotten more than a million views so far, this musical pooch was caught singing the blues.

Check out the adorable video, and be sure the sound is on. You won’t believe how much emotion this artistic pup puts into his performance.

Do(g)-It-Yourself
When your pup begs for table scraps, it can be hard to resist handing over what’s on your plate. However, when you’re trying to keep your pup on a healthy diet, it’s best to stick with ingredients that are easy to digest. Thankfully, it’s simple to make dog-friendly meatballs that your dog can enjoy, guilt-free.

These dairy-free dog meatballs make a great high-reward treat when you’re teaching your pup a new trick, or anytime you want to spoil your good boy.

How to make your own dog-friendly meatballs at home:

  • What you’ll need: lean ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped spinach, carrots, chopped basil, and an egg.

  • Preheat the oven to 350º F.

  • Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.

  • Form the mixture into little balls. (Pro-tip: You might want to use a tablespoon or ice cream scoop to make sure they’re all the same size.)

  • Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  • Bake for 15-20 minutes.

  • Allow the meatballs to cool completely, then give your dog a treat!

Your genes may be the reason you're a dog owner
Dog people and cat people can sometimes seem like different breeds. You may have even wondered if there’s some kind of scientific reason that explains why you’re drawn to dogs. It turns out, your genetic makeup may influence why you became a dog owner.

A recent study took a look at twins, and found that the rate of dog ownership was significantly higher for identical twins compared to fraternal twins. Fraternal twins share only half of their genetic variations, while identical twins share an entire genome.

Additional research would be required to see how elements like personality traits and allergies factor into the equation. However, this was the first time that researchers concluded that “genetics and environment play about equal roles in determining dog ownership.” In other words, if you felt like you were destined to get your dog, you just might be right!
