December dog horoscopes
Given that dogs can’t talk - one of their only faults, really - it can sometimes be tricky to know exactly what they’re thinking or feeling.
Some experts recommend teaching your dog specific hand signals or verbal cues to help communicate with each other, while others suggest the more whimsical approach of looking to the stars to tell us what our dogs might be feeling.
Astrological expert, Lisa Stardust, believes December is going to be quite the month for our four-legged friends. Apparently Virgo pups will be feeling pretty ambitious, while canines of the Capricorn variety are embracing the lazy vibes.
We scoped out our dogs’ star charts and we have to say, it’s pretty enlightening. Check out your dog’s horoscope for some fun astrological insights into what to expect this month!

Dog of the Day
Today’s DOTD features three curly cuties. Meet: Daphne, Finn, and Indie!
We really should’ve saved this one for Tongues Out Tuesday, but we just couldn’t wait another day (can you blame us?! Look how adorable they are!).
Thanks to our loyal reader, Tina P., for sending in this pic of her pups over Thanksgiving!
P.S. Want your pup to be featured in a future Daily Dig? Submit their pic to woof@dailydigdogs.com, DM us on Instagram, or reply to this email! Include their name and anything that makes them special (we know, we know, everything about them is special).
What we're digging
Ben & Jerry’s is taking “DF” desserts to a whole new level. We’re not just talking “dairy free,” we’re talking “dog friendly.”
The infamous ice cream company has officially introduced their line of Doggie Desserts - fairtrade, non-GMO, dog-safe and dog-delicious ice creams made specifically for pups.
Now after you've had a ruff day, you and your pooch can both partake in some sweet, ice-cold comfort. Snag a pint of Pontch’s Mix or Rosie’s Batch here!
(And yes, we know what you’re thinking. B&J’s Doggie Desserts are human-friendly too.)
True or False...
Answer: TRUE! Well, sort of. When a dog looks at their beloved owner or a human they trust, their brain releases oxytocin, also known as the love hormone.
