Dog wine has officially hit the market and it has our interests piqued. Apollo Peak, “the original winery for pets,” launched three varietals - Zinfantail, Malbark, and Chardognay - that all have purposes beyond just being a fun treat to serve your pet. They utilize natural ingredients like chamomile, anise, and peppermint, which can help with calming dog anxiety or freshening breath.

Although all of the ingredients are marked as pet-safe, much like supplements for humans, they aren’t scientifically proven or FDA regulated. Most faux dog-wine producers still recommend consulting with your vet before rushing out to buy Fido their own wine bowl.
