Feel Good Friday: 9 dogs who couldn't wait to visit Santa
Santa Paws is coming to town!

Holiday photos with our four-legged family members can be tricky. Some dogs become camera shy when it’s their turn to shine, but others can’t wait to show St. Nick how good they've been.

Check out these festive Fidos (and one meow-y Christmas cat!) who we’re certain made the Nice List this year.

Are you taking your dog to visit the jolly guy in the red suit this year? Tag us on Instagram (@dailydigdogs) or send an email to woof@dailydigdogs.com - we’d love to see holiday pics of your pups!

Do(g)-It-Yourself
A selection of artfully presented cured meats, cheeses, olives, nuts and other tasty edibles? What’s not to love?

Charcuterie boards have been #trending for quite a while, so it’s no surprise that a dog-friendly version has taken TikTok and Instagram by storm. “Barkuterie boards” are a win-win. Our dogs enjoy the treats and the attention, and we enjoy spoiling them with both.

Step up your snack game this weekend with some barkuterie (and don’t forget to send pics of your artisanal creations to woof@dailydigdogs.com!).

DIY Barkuterie Board
Before you start artfully assembling your board, make sure you’re grabbing 100% dog-safe snacks. Here are some of our favorites:

  • Various dog treats (an obvious and easy way to add interesting shapes, textures and flavors)

  • Blueberries and banana slices

  • Carrot pieces, sliced cucumbers, raw cauliflower

  • Peanut butter, bone broth, plain greek yogurt

Tips for assembling:

  • Start with any small bowls of broth, yogurt, or peanut butter and space these out on your board.

  • Select your larger treats and scatter them evenly. Be sure to vary textures from crunchy to creamy and crumbly to chewy to appease your pup’s palate.

  • Add color throughout by spacing out your fresh fruits and veggies.

  • Fill in gaps with smaller foods that need structure, like kibble or piles of carrot strips

  • Sprinkle on a garnish, like dust from crushed treats or kibble, for a final touch of texture!
